Our Play Silks are Eco dyed by us, using windfallen leaves and flowers from eucalyptus trees.
Not only do Little Whimsy Play Silks make the perfect addition to our open ended range, they can also encourage many other forms of play. Their open ended nature allows them to be used in a variety of ways, for example: as dress ups, as a doll carrier or blanket, as play food in a pot or as water in small world play. Eco dying produces many variations of beautiful, natural earthy tones making each Play Silk uniquely different. When purchasing a silk from us, the colours and patterns will vary from those in the photos.
The sizing is approximate - there is some variation due to the nature of hand rolled hemming and the dyeing process.
Care Instructions: Each Silk is made from 8 mm Habotai silk with hand rolled silk thread hems. Hand wash with mild soap in warm water. Hang dry, and iron on a low to medium heat. Do not tumble dry.
Recommended for children 3 and over.
